Cabbage Casserole....

I have a very simple and easy receipe that I'd like to share:

1/2 head of cabbage
1lb of meat(I use turkey)
2 cans of condensed tomato soup( I use Campbell's)
1 C of water
1 C of INSTANT rice
2-3 C of sharp cheddar cheese

Step 1:
1/2 head of cabbage cut and placed in 4qt dish
                                       Step 2:                                   

Mix 1 c of rice w/ browned meat and layer over cabbage
 Step 3:
2 cans of soup mixed w/ 1 C of water layered over ground beef
 Step 4: Cover and cook 45 minutes @ 350, then uncover and add cheese.  Cook until cheese is melted.
covered w/ 2-3 C of cheese
I hope you enjoy this casserole as much as my family does.

mmmm...sounds good, though I can't have dairy (I do love cheese). My family is Ukrainian, and we have cabbage rolls on holidays. This sounds sort of like cabbage rollls in a casserole (and much easier!)

That looks so easy. I love all the ingredients so I know I would really like it. Cheese is just one thing I have to try and stay away from. But... I bet it would still taste good without the cheese.
