Bowling Fun!!!!

I had a great time this weekend bowling in the SC State Championship Tournament.  At first I was kinda scared.  I have never bowled in a tournament.  I have just been bowling on a league for a year.  I thought I just wasn't good enough.  I didn't quite comprehend the handicap part of the score.  So far, I am ranked 2nd in all events,  ranked 3rd for team event, and ranked 1st in doubles.  My average is 94 but I bowled over average for 8 of the 9 games.  My scores for 4 of the games were over 120. I even bowled 2 140's +.  I am so happy that I decided to do this.  However, physically it about killed me.  9 games in 2 days are rough.  The 2nd day I was hurting so bad in my left leg that I actually had to take pain killers just to keep in the game and not forfeit.  Today I am sore but not like yesterday.  This week I will rest.  I plan to take it easy for the next couple of days to allow my body to recoup.  I pray that all of you had a great weekend.  I sure did!!!

Have a fun filled and Blessed week!!!!

Wow! That is really great bowling! Now, you know that this is the sport for you. I'm praying that the Lord will place His healing balm on your body. Keep moving! Many blessings to you and yours! Cynthia

Wow, how wonderful that you were able to do this!! I can bowl an occasional game or two with my kids, about once a year (I'm terrible at it, but it's fun!), but 9 games in 2 days is a marathon!

Rest up and recover - so glad you got to do something you enjoy!
