On Schedule.....

On July 15th I signed up for a 90 day challenge.  It is to read the Bible in 90 days.  I thought WOW!  I don't know if I can do that.  I have never been one to read the Bible daily, although for my benefit I should.  Well, I am on schedule.  It takes about an hour of reading a day.  I try to do it while my husband is at work.  I turn the TV off, get off of FaceBook and just read.  I have only been doing it a few days but I am starting to actually  look forward to it.  I think its b/c there is a plan in motion and I have an accountable partner.  Just reading w/o a plan I tend to stop after a few days.   Anyway, I am on schedule and I am happy.  I hope everyone week is going well.

Hope you can meet your goal. I usually give myself a year when I read the Bible from cover to cover. Have yet to fully make my goal. Get bogged down in Isaiah.

It is so easy to get bogged down in the OT. Dont give up! Keep trying!

Amen!! I did something like this several years ago. You can do it! Of course, over the years, I have read it over and over, again, always gleaning new knowledge. Be blessed!

WOW Keena, that is great. I was thinking of getting one of the bibles that are written to read it in a year and you are doing it in 90 days!!! Good for you. Your post reminds me that I really need to read the bible more.

Having an accountability partner does help.

That is great. I have a One Year Bible. I'm going on two years now, but I'm nearing the end. Then I want to start over. Every time you read there is something new to learn. God is so good to give us instructions and offer us wisdom if we are willing to learn.

How the heat been treating you? It's been 100-105 the past couple of days here in PA. Makes me think of SC.

Love ya, Dawn

So glad you have joined The Bible in 90 Days! I love the fact that we have accountability and a place to hook up with other readers.
