Bible in 90 days Update......

BEHIND!!!!   That is the word.  I am so far behind that its not even funny any more.  First, I fell.  Second, I went out of town.  Thirdly,  I crashed when I got back in town.  Lastly, I have not felt well a couple of days last week and didn't read, plus the fact that I started 4 days later than every one else.  BUT, I will continue to read.  It has renewed my mind set on the things of God rather on my worldly cares.  It is bringing me closer to God than I thought it would.  I have made a decision.  I don't care if I finish in the 90 days or if it takes me 190.  I am going to read until I finish the entire bible REGARDLESS.  Then I may start all over again.  I have begun enjoying my time in the Word like never before.  It has become a part of my daily life and I like that.  I encourage every one to try this challenge of reading the entire bible.  It certainly has changed my life, but then again- God's Word is life changing.   May you have a blessed week in the Lord!!!

On Schedule.....

On July 15th I signed up for a 90 day challenge.  It is to read the Bible in 90 days.  I thought WOW!  I don't know if I can do that.  I have never been one to read the Bible daily, although for my benefit I should.  Well, I am on schedule.  It takes about an hour of reading a day.  I try to do it while my husband is at work.  I turn the TV off, get off of FaceBook and just read.  I have only been doing it a few days but I am starting to actually  look forward to it.  I think its b/c there is a plan in motion and I have an accountable partner.  Just reading w/o a plan I tend to stop after a few days.   Anyway, I am on schedule and I am happy.  I hope everyone week is going well.

The Bible in 90 days......

A fellow blogger challenged me to read the Bible, entire Bible in 90 days.   I am going to give my best effort to finish this challenge.  It will not be easy, but it will be so worth it.   I am behind b/c I started late.  BUT, I will not let that deter me from finishing my goal.  This is something that I have always wanted to do.  Read the entire Bible from cover to cover.   It takes about an hour of reading a day.  That is not too bad for an avid reader like myself.   IF you care to join me, go to http://www.biblein90days.org/  or www.momstoolbox.com .  I would LOVE to have some friends join me in this challenge.  Well, I need want to go do my nightly reading now.....
